The UK has two types of classes open for the Skilled Migration Program
Highly Skilled Migration Program
Working Holiday Maker Visa
HIGHLY SKILLED MIGRATION PROGRAM
The purpose of the skilled migration scheme is to attract people with Senior Level, Specialist or Graduate Level skills, which would be of benefit to the UK Economy. If successful in applying for skilled migration, you will be granted permanent residence.
There are 2 schemes, one for persons under the age of 28 and the other for persons above the age of 28.
This program is designed to allow Highly Skilled people to migrate to the UK for work or for self employment.
There is no need to have a job-offer to apply.
The program assesses you on a point system.
The Visa (or the Work Permit) is valid for ONE YEAR. It is then renewed for another period of 3 years.
After the 4 years, you can apply for the permanent residence & passport.
NO IELTS OR ANY OTHER LANGUAGE TEST REQUIRED.
WORKING HOLIDAY MAKER VISA
This class of visa is applicable only for those who are withering 30 or below 30 years of age and is Commonwealth Citizens.
You need to show that you have enough funds to support yourself for the first two months and your return flight. This means at least 1,500 Pounds (US$2,500) in your bank statement. The more the better, but not less.
You can take your spouse and your children, provided the child is not more than 3 years old at the time of application.
This visa is valid for 2 years from date of entry. You have 3 months after the visa is approved to travel to the UK.
Once in the UK, you can take up any job you wish. There is no sponsor required before processing.
